Meet Bill Barnhill

C. William Barnhill, CCIM, PhD, has been in the Commercial Real Estate Business over 30 years.  He has been actively involved as owner and broker in the self storage business for 13 years.  As President and owner of Omega Properties, Inc., Mr. Barnhill has been an active broker, developer, consultant and manager of self storage properties.  He has brokered over $100 million in self storage transactions.  Omega Properties, Inc. was formed in 1979 as a Commercial Investment Real Estate firm.  The company has been active in site selection, land development and particularly self storage.  Mr. Barnhill owns and operates six self storage facilities in Alabama.

Meet Stuart LaGroue

Stuart LaGroue has been involved in Commercial Real Estate and specializing in self storage brokerage since 2004.  He has been involved in the brokerage of over $30 million in transactions in Alabama, Mississippi and Florida.  Currently, Stuart serves as a board member of the Alabama Self Storage Association (ALSSA).  In 2009, he served as President of ALSSA and for the two years prior to that he served as Treasurer.  Stuart earned his Bachelor's of Science from Auburn University and is currently a CCIM candidate.

Meet Shannon Barnes

Shannon Barnhill Barnes has been in Commercial Real Estate since 2005.  Along with specializing in self storage, she also manages 6 self storage facilities locally in Mobile, AL.  Shannon earned her CCIM designation in 2010 and is licensed in Alabama, Mississippi, and Florida.  She earned her Bachelors of Science from the University of Alabama.

Mack Browder has been a real estate affiliate broker since 1985 after over 15 years in public accounting as a CPA including a stint with one of the Big 4 International accounting firms.  His broad experience with Crye-Leike Commercial includes transactions in industrial, multi-family, office, retail and land and he has been recognized by the Memphis realtor association as a top producer.  He has served as President of the Tennessee Society of CPAs, (CPA license now inactive) as a member of the Memphis & Shelby County Industrial Development Corporation and as a trustee of the Memphis & Shelby County Public Library and Information Center.  He has represented numerous owners of private operating companies in the sale of their business.  Mack represents the Argus Self Storage Sales Network in the state of Tennessee.

William H. Brownfield, CRE, CCIM, is the managing director of acquisitions for Means Knaus Partners and directs acquisitions and dispositions, manages the investment process and oversees client real estate investments. His transaction activities exceed 5 million square feet valued at almost $1 billion.  Since 1978, Mr. Brownfield has been responsible for more than 28 million square feet of properties representing 22 U.S. markets, including every major city in Texas.

Mr. Brownfield has several professional affiliations and designations. He is presently an active Texas real estate broker, a Counselor of Real Estate (CRE), and a Certified Commercial Investment Member (CCIM). Mr. Brownfield served as 2005 Chairman of the CRE Houston Gulf Coast Chapter and is a past Board member of both the Houston CCIM Chapter and the Houston IREM Chapter. He earned his Master of Business Administration from Southwest Missouri State University.
 

David F. Etzold is the principal and founding broker of Etzold & Co. A native of El Paso, TX, David has specialized in commercial real estate since 1981.  His experience includes work with the El Paso City Plan Commission and the Greater El Paso Housing Development Corporation.  In 1992, David was awarded the Lone Star Trophy by the Texas Association of Realtors for the Top Commercial Transaction in the State.  He is experienced in income property sales and analysis, land use analysis, development management, market and feasibility studies, distressed property disposition and general commercial real estate brokerage and leasing.  Together with his partner Noel Woodwell, David represents Argus in West Texas and New Mexico.

Noel Woodwell has been licensed in New Mexico and Texas since 1972.  He holds a BSME and MBA from New Mexico State University and worked as an engineer at the White Sands Missile Range and NASA's White Sands Test Facility in the 1960's and 70's.  Noel has owned and operated several multi-family properties and has deep experience with land development, income property sales, ranch and farm brokerage and multi-family property management and brokerage.

Larry Goldman, CCIM is an investment properties specialist with RE/MAX Best Associates - Commercial Division and specializes in the brokerage of self-storage facilities as the Kansas, Arkansas, Missouri and Southern Illinois affiliate of the Argus Self Storage Sales Network.  Larry takes pride in providing value-added service that is driven by long-term relationships.  He has been an active commercial real estate agent for over 20 years and a CCIM since 1991.  In 2001, Larry was awarded Salesperson of the Year by Prudential CRES Commercial Real Estate.  Larry served as President of the Kansas City Chapter of CCIM in 2002 and was a Regional Director/Board Member of the CCIM Institute in 2006.  Larry is currently the President of the Kansas Self Storage Owners Association, and is actively involved in the Missouri and Arkansas storage owners trade associations.

Jared Jones has been with Bauer & Associates, Inc. in Tulsa, OK since 2007 and he specializes in self storage brokerage, office and retail leasing and sales, and investment property brokerage.  Jared earned a Marketing degree and MBA from Pittsburg State University and achieved his CCIM designation in 2010.  He serves on the Office Advisory Board for the Greater Tulsa Association of Realtors and is an active participant in the RCA Commercial Alliance and RCA Education committees.  Jared also serves as President of the Oklahoma Self Storage Association and has played an active role in the founding of the organization.

Meet Richard Minker

Richard D. Minker, CCIM is the Senior Director with CASE Commercial Real Estate Partners and formerly served as CEO of MINKERTrahant & Associates. He holds a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration from the University of Pittsburgh and a J.D. from Georgetown University Law Center.  Richard has been involved in the commercial real estate industry since 1980 and has worked with such nationally known companies as DynCorp International, Tyson Foods, 20th Century Fox Television and Federal Express.  Richard has been recognized by the Society of Commercial Realtors for the Charles D. Tandy Realtor of the year in 2005.  The Texas Association of Realtors presented him with the William C. Jennings award for the Commercial Real Estate transaction of the year for the State of Texas in 2005.

Meet Tyler Trahant

Tyler Trahant is the Managing Director of CASE Commercial Real Estate Partners and is the former President of MINKERTRAHANT & Associates. Tyler specializes in office and industrial leasing and sales as well as self storage brokerage.  Tyler holds a BBA in International Marketing from Texas Christian University and is currently a candidate for the prestigious CCIM Real Estate designation. He is an active member of the Society of Commercial Realtors where he serves on the Board of Governors.  Tyler has been selected as a Fort Worth Business Press 2002 - 40 Under 40 Award Recipient, 2005 Leadership Fort Worth class and has also served on the board of directors of local civic organizations Big Brothers Big Sisters and the Women's Center of Fort Worth.
